ChatGPT is a generative, pre-trained transformer that uses natural language processing driven by Artifical Intelligence. It allows the user to have human-like conversations with the chatbot. The language model can answer questions and assist users in composing emails, essays, and code. The tool engages in conversational text interactions with users by using artificial intelligence, and these exchanges are designed to make the user feel as natural as chatting with a real person.
ChatGPT was created by OpenAI, an AI and research company. The company launched ChatGPT on Nov. 30, 2022. The tool is currently in the research phase and is available in both free and paid versions.
The tool is easy to use and access. To use the ChatGPT:
Open chat.OpenAi.com and register for an account. If you are new, create an account. Registered users can login with the OpenAI credentials.
Once you have logged into your account, read through the terms and disclosures for ChatGPT and click on Next.
Click Done when you reach the last tab of the terms and disclosures.
You are all set to get started and interact with the language model. You can type in any of your ChatGPT prompts in the text bar at the bottom of the page and press enter to submit your questions. The chatbot will then generate the answer text to your prompts.
