Power BI is a business analytics service provided by Microsoft that lets you visualize your data and share insights. It converts data from different sources to build interactive dashboards and Business Intelligence reports.
Microsoft Power BI is a cloud based & an interactive data visualization software product developed by Microsoft with a primary focus on business intelligence. It is part of the Microsoft Power Platform.it gives you an integrated perspective of your data by enabling you to monitor the state of your business via live dashboards.
Who uses power BI application?
Power BI is used by multiple industries like Finance, Healthcare, retail, & manufacturing. Users of power BI application include business analyst, data analyst , data scientist and other professionals who need to analyze and visualize data.

As I said Power BI is useful in various industries. Here we are trying to understand what is importance of Power Bi in Healthcare .The healthcare industry generates an immense amount of data daily. Most of the data generated are registrations, lab results, prescriptions, pharmacy reports, patient billing, and much more. The majority of the time, the data generated by healthcare workers is siloed and stored at different locations. This key metrics is useful for many reasons as they provide detail reports about Healthcare operations and patient’s outcome.
1.Hospital Dashboard Metrics: include Admission, Emergency room waiting time, Quarterly Income,
Departmental spending. These all information gives insights about Patient’s admission time , how long their waiting time in emergency so hospital staff can take a quick action to reduce that time and improve efficiency. Quarterly income and departmental spending shows how much and where money flow is going and what can be manageable for future purpose, in short Budget control real time data for hospital incoming and out going flow.
